Couple weeks ago I just got back from Hong Kong to do personal portrait photo session, weather is really nice with a bit windy at night and it decrease the city temperature from 15 into 10 degree Celsius. My client today is Herlin, a nice lady who coming from Jakarta Indonesia and she goes to Hong Kong with other 3 gorgeous ladies. 1 day before the photo session I visit Herlin in her hotel near Central Pier, Four Season Hong Kong, a super nice hotel that you also can go in for stay and even for photo shoot. We do a short discussion and I share some pictures that I took in the afternoon so we have a good preparation for tomorrow photo shoot. I leave the Four Season at 10pm and hurry to catch up my last MTR to go to Kowloon and got some rest.

6 am in the morning and my alarm was ringing, I woke up in super cold weather, but I try to open up my hotel’s window just to figure out the weather. Hong Kong this morning was super cloudy and I’m pretty sure it will be long day, so challenging! In some part cloudy can make the pictures smooth in the face and feel a bit sexy, I don’t really care about the weather as long as I got no rain so I can do photo session with Herlin as well.
Our Velfire car is stand by in front of the hotel and I met really nice driver named Simon, thanks to Simon for sure cause he helps us a lot, showing the best route to go to chosen location and show us the best authentic Hong Kong local restaurant for our lunch break. Our car drive smoothly to the 1st location near the North Point, the Chun Yuen Street Market, It was superfantastic. Chun Yuen Street is a complex of local market where we saw people of Hong Kong walking down to the market to shop some groceries, fruits, meats and etc. For sure we have to stop photo shoot for few second cause the old tram is horn us with their old traditional bell, it was truly Hong Kong that I really want to see. Spend for almost 2 hours in this market make us feel hungry that we ask Simon to go to local and typical restaurant that I sure only people of Hong Kong know about it. The restaurant is located in the 2nd floor where they put fish market in 1st floor. Almost all the food are written in Cantonese so we have to make sure what kind of photo shoot that we going to order.
Our lunch is over and we continue our journey to Wong Tai Sin Temple, Canton Road, Causeway Bay, and finish it in Victoria Harbor for the last location and enjoying the awesome symphony of lights. Down here I will present to all of you Herlin’s personal portrait in Hong Kong that we took in winter season, have fun and enjoy!
Following Herlin’s picturs I will show you some nice photos around Hong Kong,
